Strategic Project Manager

Department: Project Management | Location: Stockholm | Employment type: Full-time

Vekst is a digital agency that develops digital strategies, designs business development strategies, creates operational action plans, and executes measurable campaigns. We collaborate with global brands and B2B companies, focusing on generating impact and integrating their marketing and sales efforts.

The role

We're looking for a Strategic Project Manager who brings hands-on performance marketing experience, works closely with our clients and helps find the next opportunity.

You'll be part of our commercial team, the bridge between new sales and delivery. When a client comes on board, you make sure the strategy becomes real results. You'll lead our client projects, mainly within performance marketing, and you'll also be a trusted contact for the client, keeping track of where they're heading and where we can help them grow.

You know performance marketing from the inside, so you can talk channels, budgets and results with both clients and specialists. You'll work closely with our client directors and performance marketing specialists, and with content and analytics specialists depending on the project. You'll also own the operational and financial side, making sure projects are well planned, properly resourced and profitable.

What you'll do:

  • Lead client projects from plan to results, and keep clients updated with progress and insights

  • Be a trusted contact for clients and build strong relationships with their key stakeholders

  • Identify new opportunities within your clients' business, and work with the commercial team to turn them into new projects

  • Plan and allocate resources across projects for efficient, high-quality delivery

  • Manage project plans, timelines and tasks in our project management system, together with the Operations Manager

  • Monitor and manage project budgets, especially media costs, so spend stays accurate and in line with client goals

  • Manage invoicing so all projects are billed accurately and on time

  • Analyse project profitability and find ways to improve it

About you

You're organised, proactive and comfortable in front of clients. You're as happy discussing a client's goals with their leadership as you are digging into a campaign budget. You can manage several projects at once, work well across teams, and keep a strong focus on both results and profitability.

We think you have:

  • Advanced, hands-on knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Meta, Google Ads and LinkedIn.

  • Experience managing projects, ideally at an agency and within digital marketing

  • Experience working directly with clients, and an eye for new business opportunities

  • Advanced skills in tracking budgets, managing media costs and keeping projects profitable

  • Familiarity with project management and resource planning tools, such as Forecast, Harvest, Monday.com or Roughly Right

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proactive, solution-focused mindset

Location:

You'll be based in Stockholm and travel regularly to our offices and to client locations, since our clients are mainly in the Nordics and Central Europe.
